Sausage, ketchup and the fries were very good as always. Only the lady with the orange fingernails was not very friendly. That clouded my visit a bit. Hence only four stars.

Delicious. Come from Brandenburg, you hardly get any good currywurst there. Therefore a trip to Steglitz. You can't go wrong with the frying pan.

I wanted to specifically test a currywurst. But I walked past because the booth was decorated for Christmas. Later, when I ate a kebab a few meters away, I bought a mulled wine with amaretto there. A small paper cup and that without a taste of the shot. That is probably not possible at all!

I really like currywurst. In Berlin (and Hamburg) I don't know any better combination of sausage, fries and the sauce. The sausage is nice and crispy and the sauce nice and tomato. The thing has become more and more expensive lately.

I've always loved going to the frying pan! BUT the type and whiteness of how different people are from there is really a real cheek! In a nutshell! My husband went there in the evening to get something. There were 2 people in front of him and he knew exactly what he wanted. After it was his turn he was simply ignored and when he wanted to have your attention with a short hello, it was only said we are closed! Sorry, but there were still 15 minutes of opening time we are not petty but my husband is also a restaurant operator and knows how to provide proper service! There was still enough time for 1 person and burger meat was on the grill. I know why he was treated like that but I have to say we live here in Germany and we were born in Berlin. It's about time that your thoughts change. Thanks for that!! Never again, very sad!

Perfect currywurst and french fries, a real insider tip that one also likes to pass on. We have already taken tourists who were visiting us and really wanted to eat a currywurst here. The booth is always clean and well-kept. After the renovation, the exterior facade was really upgraded. The cheeseburger is also a real insider tip. However, I never get to eat it there. I would much rather eat a currywurst and french fries here.

The service is sometimes a bit flimsy and unfriendly but the sausage is great. You could go there more often if you weren't always afraid of the service.

Simply the best curry sausage at steglitz. The chili cheese burger also comes highly recommended

Regular customer since 2002, Essen as always excellent. But constantly new staff and unfriendly staff on site during the last visit. The Berlin snout is missing! Joke and friendliness as it used to be.

Good currywurst right on Schloßstraße, Steglitz 'shopping mile. Service could sometimes be friendlier ... Berlin shut up. Meatballs are good too.

Like many others, I have to take the unfriendly lady as a yardstick. Sure the food is delicious (although I puke when I see the fries being warmed up again and then sprinkling the salt over them instead of rolling the fries on them), but it makes a difference whether I'm being served rude (no hello, No thanks, no please, no nice day!) or at least with a typical Berliner Schnauze. We have now finally found an alternative in Steglitz and can only wish the frying pan a rethink. You don't eat currywurst often, you can look forward to being served in a friendly manner;)

Still one of the best currywurst in town. There is also a lot of onions and ketchup on the sausage, not as dry as at some other snack bars. Keep it up 👍

Today my search for the tastiest currywurst in Berlin took me to the Bratpfanne in Steglitz. The family-run snack bar has been located on the small square on the corner of Schlossstrasse and Kieler Strasse for a good 70 years and such a traditional business is also noticeable in such a simple meal as currywurst with french fries. As usual, I ordered 1 x currywurst with intestine and french fries red / white + cola: € 6.00 The currywurst is really good and deserves 5 stars. The tomato sauce is creamy and very tomato. I am always in favor of a sweet and piquant note, but you can tell immediately that there is a proven recipe behind this sauce. A little less sauce would have been enough. You don't want to dive for the sausage. The fries were standard. Could be more aromatic. I deduct one point for the not exactly over-friendly lady who received and processed my order. From the other reviews, I learned that friendliness is not one of the most salient features of the frying pan. That's a shame because the products are good. The plastic fork is simply no longer up to date and can easily be replaced by an environmentally friendly variant. Hygienically everything made a good impression. Location: The square is not quite as turbulent as some other locations and compared to train stations, etc., quite pretty. There are standing tables, no seats. Goodie: you can also order and pick up the raw sausage in order to fry / grill your own currywurst at home. The sauce and the curry powder are included. Conclusion: Here you get a really good currywurst.

I've known the frying pan since I was 7 years old, so for over 50 years! For me the best curry sausages in town. When I was a child, there were still sausages and wieners common at the time, but unfortunately no more today. But that's not as bad as the times are. I always enjoy going there!

Currywurst and Currybulette exactly the way I like them. Staff are almost always friendly, prices are absolutely okay, and their food is tasty - if you like traditional German-Berlin fast-food, that is. Highly recommended for a quick bite.

Always busy. Easily accessible from the bustling SchlossStrasse. Zur Bratfanne is a Great place to stop for a Wurst. This street outlet offers a variety of wursts and other sandwiches for a quick bite. My only gripe is there are insufficient stands/tables to eat outside. There are no inside dining possibilities either. Last two times we used either the top portion of outside trash receptacles to place our paper holders on or ate our wurst from a standing position. Great tasting wurst but not the very best. Sure that when we return to Berlin, we will eat here again.
